DESCRIPTION OF ITINERARY:
DAY 01: TOUR MARAS – MORAY: MARAS: Maras is 3300 masl, located 45 km to northwest of Cuzco and a population of 7000 inhabitants; from there you can see the snowy peaks of Urubamba, Veronica 5682m and Chikon 5530m. Its occupation began when the Incas from Cuzco were stripped of their palaces of Cuzco and had to leave to settle in other small towns as Maras. It also has a church built with adobe bricks on stone base typical of Spanish religious architecture, inside of the church are saved paintings of the Cusco School and a cross carved in granite.
